Terrence Curtin is Chief Executive Officer of TE Connectivity, a $12 billion global technology leader in connectivity and sensor solutions that enable a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Each day more than 7,000 TE engineers across the globe collaborate with customers to solve their toughest problems and turn ideas into innovations that move the world forward – from autonomous vehicles, next generation aircraft and smart factories to advanced medical devices and connected homes. Terrence views the convergence of technology, free trade, and diversity as a unique opportunity to build a more connected, sustainable, inclusive, and productive society. To create maximum value for TE’s stakeholders, he is focused on enhancing the experience for the company’s customers, optimizing TE’s operations, removing obstacles to unleash the potential of TE employees, and cultivating a diverse work environment where global collaboration and innovation thrive. Through this approach, he believes TE will continue to be a partner of choice for customers looking to address their most critical challenges in the harshest of environments. A global-minded leader, Terrence’s advocacy for free trade and technology, and his appreciation of a broad spectrum of ideas and cultures, stems from his years of previous experience at TE and Arthur Andersen. Prior to assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer of the company in March 2017, Terrence served as TE’s President, where he was responsible for all of the company’s connectivity and sensor businesses, as well as mergers and acquisition activities. In March 2016, he was elected to the Board of Directors. Terrence also previously led TE’s Industrial Solutions segment, which includes the company’s Energy, Industrial, Medical, and Aerospace, Defense, and Marine business units. Prior to his role as leader of Industrial Solutions, Terrence served as TE’s Chief Financial Officer, and as the company’s Corporate Controller. Before joining TE Connectivity, Terrence was employed by Arthur Andersen LLP. Terrence holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Albright College and is also a member of its Board of Trustees.
