T. Krishnakumar (“KK”) is President of The Coca-Cola Company’s India and Southwest Asia business unit where he has responsibility for all company operations in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Previously, KK was the Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCB), the company-owned bottler in India. He is also responsible for The Coca-ColaCompany's Bottling Investment Group's operations in Bangladesh. KK joined the Coca-Cola system in 2004 as Region Manager for the company for the East of India. He was appointed the Region Vice President for the Central Region in 2005. In 2007, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of HCCB and Chief Executive Officer in 2009.

 KK joined the Coca-Cola system from Henkel India and has 21 years of experience in the confectionery and impulse food business, handling sales, marketing and general functions. KK runs a non-profit trust with his wife Sujatha to promote rural empowerment and finds it to be the best restorer of work-life balance. KK is an Engineering Honors graduate from Madras University and is a post-graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore, majoring in Marketing and Finance. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management program of the Wharton Business School.
