Ms. Sylvia A. Navasero is the director of the Company since 1971 up to the present. Prior to joining the Company, she was a bacteriologist and analytical chemist in the Bureau of Soils of the Philippines, a research assistant and assistant plant physiologist at IRRI, acting manager, secretary and treasurer of Phil. Water Bottling Co., Inc., and treasurer of Royal School Laboratories, Inc. Ms. Navasero’s research works were also published in The Philippine Agriculturalist Journal, the Soil Science & Plant Nutrition Journal and the Official English Journal of the Japanese Society of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition. She earned her Master of Science in Agricultural Chemistry degree from the University of the Philippines (Los Baños) and Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Siliman University, Dumaguete City where she graduated as Magna Cum Laude.
