Susan Sawyer received a B.S of Nursing with honors from the University of Phoenix. Since joining Quintiles in 2007, Sue has held various leadership roles within the Health Management Services division, including serving as the National Training Manager and interim Regional Director for more than 100 nurses. Prior to that, she was a diabetes program manager and charge nurse at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
Susan Sawyer oversees a team of clinical trial educators and nurse educators who deliver patient-centered clinical trials, with a particular focus on cardiovascular and diabetes indications. Leading and working alongside these educators, Sue works to improve clinical trial recruitment and retention, drug adherence among trial participants, and product education among health care providers.
