Stephan used to teach Economics at various German Universities and is a certified business and executive coach. Stephan brings more than 25 years of experience in international sales and business development to REC. Prior joining REC, he spent many years in the solar industry, including with German inverter manufacturer KACO New Energy GmbH, where he was the head of sales for international PV power plants and CEO for some of their operations in Canada. He had also held a management position in Shanghai at module manufacturer Talesun Solar Ltd. (China), as well as a CEO position with leading German project developer and final investor MBB Sun AG. Earlier in his careers, he worked with such companies as Mercedes Benz, Siemens and, Tektronix.
