Sir Robert John Margetts has been on Uralkali’s Board of Directors since June 2011. Robert John Margetts was born in 1946. In 1965 he graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Chemical Engineering. Since 1969 Robert John Margetts worked for Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in various managerial positions. In 1992 he became a member of the Board of Directors of ICI Mine in 1992 and was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICI Pension Fund Trustee Limited in 1994–2000. In 1996 to 2010 Sir Robert served on the Boards of Directors of Legal & General Group PLC (2000–2010 as Chairman of the Board), BOC Group (2002–2006 as Chairman of the Board), Neochimiki SA, Falck Renewables PLC. From 1998 to 2010 Sir Robert was a Non-Executive Director of Anglo American PLC (2003-2008 as Senior Independent Director). In 2000 Sir Robert became Chairman of Huntsman Corporation (NYSE) and since 2010 Sir Robert has been a non-executive director there.
