He is a highly regarded and successful entrepreneur and investor who has assembled a world-class team of cancer specialists, scientists, informaticists and technology experts to deliver on Inspirata’s mission to develop innovative cancer diagnostic solutions to optimize patient outcomes. Satish founded his first company, IMRglobal, in 1988. From modest beginnings, IMRglobal grew into a major, international IT services firm that went public in 1996, and eventually had more than 3,000 employees worldwide. Following the sale of IMRglobal to CGI in 2001, Satish acquired and led Atlanta-based Zavata, a business process outsourcing and revenue cycle management firm servicing the healthcare provider and insurance market. Under Satish’s leadership, Zavata raised approximately $65 million from world-renowned venture capitalists, completed five acquisitions, including Siemens’ Revenue Cycle Management division, and was successfully sold to Apollo Hospitals in 2008.
