As vice president of Business Development and Strategy, Ryan’s responsibilities include global leadership of Physio-Control’s strategic planning and corporate development activities, including technology licensing and distribution partnerships, minority investments, and acquisitions. Prior to his current role, Ryan held positions of increasing responsibility within business development and sales management, including leadership of sales to U.S. commercial and distributor channels, U.S. government, and U.S. pre-hospital and hospital strategic and national accounts. Before joining Physio-Control in 2004, Ryan was a management consultant with Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice, where he served Fortune 500 manufacturing and healthcare clients in the areas of competitive strategy and analysis, marketing, business process improvement, and mergers and acquisition integration. Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Washington University and holds a master’s in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
