Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern State University with a major in Finance.  Prior to joining Great Western Bank, he worked for Wells Fargo Financial company for around 3 years while studying at Northern State.  Upon graduating, he joined Great Western Bank in a management trainee program until he became a Personal Banker in Madison, SD.  He was a Mortgage Loan Officer in Watertown, SD until 2005; worked as a Business Banker until 2007; was a Retail Banking Manager until 2011 and was a Group President in Watertown until 2014 when he became Group President for Sioux Falls, SD. Ryan and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Harper and Finley, and are active in the Sioux Falls community. While in Watertown he co-chaired the Watertown H20-20 vision plan; was campaign co-chair of the Watertown Development Company Campaign; was a director for BISCO as well as a past board member of the United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, Karing Kapers and Junior Achievement.
