Biography

 Robert Green is vice president and chief financial officer of GE Power and is responsible for planning and analysis, controllership, reporting and tax. Robert has over 26 years with GE holding a number of finance positions and was named a GE company officer in 2006. Previously, Robert was CFO of GE Capital from 2013 to 2017 and was CFO of GE Capital International, based in London, from 2011 to 2013. He served as CFO of GE Capital Global Banking from 2009 to 2011. In addition, Robert has been the CFO for GE Americom, the largest U.S. satellite fleet operator, GE European Equipment Finance, and GE Amersham, a global healthcare business. Robert joined GE in 1990 as a member of the Financial Management Program (FMP), and held roles across various GE businesses before leading GE Capital’s Corporate Audit Staff in 2002 with oversight across 45 countries. Robert graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in finance. He currently serves on the boards of buildOn, an organization that empowers U.S. urban youth to transform their neighborhoods through community service, and Domus, an organization focused on helping youth stay in school and catch up academically.
