Robert Palmer is a pilot and the owner of IndyJet at Indianapolis Regional Airport in Greenfield, Ind. He is retired after 35 years with FedEx Express, where he served as vice president and general manager of air, ground and freight services. He is president of the Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, and serves on the boards of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Central Indiana and University of Indianapolis. Mr. Palmer also is the board chair for IU Health West Hospital. He’s been awarded the distinguished Eagle Scout Award and the Junior Achievement National Leadership Award.
