I am for more than 33 years a serial entrepreneur in the healthcare sector, having started companies and charities . I am Swiss-italian, born in Milan but grow up in Lugano, holds an Economic Degree at Bocconi University of Milan and has an international experience of pharmaceutical business working in UK, Portugal, Switzerland and Usa. I took the company from my father Gabriele and, as Group CEO, I managed to grow it into an international group, from Switzerland to Ireland, USA and China. Today I have the role of Group Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of Helsinn Holding SA. I was honored by receiving the award as the best Swiss Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 and as the best entrepreneur in Ticino in 2011. Helsinn Group is an innovative pharma and chemical group focus in an original business model of integrated licensing and target to develop new value added drugs, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.  Today Helsinn is a middle size company with around 700 employees, investing every year around 25% of its turnover in research and development and its products are sold in more than 90 countries worldwide. From 2013 Helsinn has its own commercial oncology sales team in USA (see: www.helsinn.com). From 2016 Helsinn start up its own innovation investment fund focus in oncology and metabolism.  I am also a member in different boards in Europe and US in the healthcare sector
