Mr. Ellison is a Portfolio Manager/Trader at Shelter Growth Capital Partners. Prior to joining SGCP, Mr. Ellison was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. From 2010 until 2015, Mr. Ellison was a Trader in the Mortgage Department responsible for trading prime whole loans. In this role, Mr. Ellison was responsible for managing the new-issue prime jumbo securitization business, including issuing Goldman’s first post-crisis residential securitization. He also helped to manage an investment in Essent Group, a de novo mortgage insurance company. From 2009 until 2010, Mr. Ellison was a member of the Structured Portfolio Solutions Group (SPSG), a group within the Mortgage Department focused on principal and advisory opportunities in mortgages. Mr. Ellison holds a BS Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, where he serves on the board of the Engineering Development Council and Engineering Young Alumni Association.
