Regina Grillari, CTO and co-founder, is associate professor for cellular biology, since 2008 leading a group focused on cellular immortalization and cell line development at the Department of Biotechnology, at BOKU. She achieved her PhD in 2000 on immortalization of human cells and recombinant protein expression and was appointed to receive the Prof. Anton Kurir habilitation award in 2009. In 2012 she received the “Phoenix Award” for successful academic entrepreneurship from the Austrian Ministry of Science and Research and 2015 she achieved third place of the Houska Award of the B&C Holding. Furthermore Regina Grillari has authored and co-authored more than 50 scientific publications and book chapters, 5 patents, and she is also co-founder and scientific advisor of TAmiRNA GmbH (founded 2012), co-founder of Phoenestra GmbH (2015) and also co-founder of Remute Bio GmbH (2016).
