Dr. Razelle Kurzrock is Senior Deputy Director, Clinical Science at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health, and is also Chief of the Hematology & Oncology Division in the UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Kurzock is widely known for developing one of the largest and best phase 1 clinical trials programs in the nation while at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a physician-scientist, Dr. Kurzrock has demonstrated extraordinary expertise and experience in clinical research, in addition to her world-recognized work in translational science. She has about 450 peer-reviewed publications and a uniquely strong record of competitive grant funding within the setting of phase I program building. She has been the principal investigator of the National Cancer Institute U01 Phase I Studies of Targeted Anti-Cancer Agents.
