Randy Noelle was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas from 1980-1984 and, in 1984, he joined the faculty of Dartmouth Medical School as an Assistant Professor. In 1995, he was promoted to Professor of Microbiology. Randy Noelle, Ph.D. is Professor and Chair of Microbiology and Immunology, Dartmouth Medical School and Director of the Immunotherapy Center, as well as co-director of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center's Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy Research Program.His laboratory has identified a novel membrane protein expressed on helper T lymphocytes (Th), CD154 and studies the regulation of peripheral tolerance.
