I joined the Ludwig Institute in 2002 after 15 years of clinical research in international pharmaceutical and US biotechnology industries. Before that I spent 10 years in clinical practice, spanning a career from EMT to board-certified anesthesiologist in Germany. Since 2002 I have been involved in building and overseeing Ludwig’s clinical trials, using state-of-the-art electronic means in full compliance with U.S. and international regulatory standards and Good Clinical Practice. I am enthusiastic about the opportunities Ludwig has to conduct first-class clinical studies in a global, fast-paced environment, based on Ludwig’s inventions and in collaboration with highly-rated clinical study sites and corporate partners. To do this at a time when immune therapy is revolutionizing mainstream cancer treatments worldwide is a true privilege. I hold a medical degree from the University of Heidelberg.
