Mr. Rajan Singh Bhandari serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Citizens Bank International Limited. Mr. Bhandari served Nepal Rastra Bank for 26 years from June 1980 to December 2006 and headed various departments such as Banking Regulation, Bank Supervision, Kathmandu Banking Office, Accounts, Internal Audit etc. He was a key player in leading and coordinating Financial Sector Reform Program of Nepal which included re-engineering of Nepal Rastra Bank and restructuring of two state owned Commercial Banks and the capacity building of the financial system. He was also responsible in formulating and introducing various prudential norms and directives in the history of Nepalese Banking System. Mr. Bhandari is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and MA (Economics) from Tribhuvan
