Dr. Pierpaolo Sileri graduated summa cum laude at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 1998. He spent 3 years at the University of Illinois at Chicago as fellow and then instructor of surgery. He obtained the degree of Master of Surgery at the same University in 2002. He completed his residency in Gastrointestinal Surgery in 2005 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. From 11/2003 to 03/2005 he trained in Colorectal Surgery in Oxford. In 2006 he obtained the PhD degree in “Technology, informatics and robotics in Surgery”. Being Academic Consultant Surgeon at the University of Rome Tor Vergata since 2008, Director of the Colorectal Master Program at the same University,
his main focus research focus covers inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancer, and functional diseases.
