Mr. Østbø (born 1979) has served as Executive Vice President Production since February 2016. His previous positions in the company include: Head of Business Line Gas and Industrial Applications 2015-2016, Head of Industrial Nitrates & CO2 business units 2014-2015, Head of Industrial Nitrates Business Unit 2013-2014, Head of Product Management & Optimization 2010-2013. Prior to joining Yara, Mr. Østbø worked at McKinsey & Company between 2003-2010. He holds a Master´s degree in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). In addition, he completed a one-year qualification in history studies at the University of Bergen.
