Pedro is a Research Engineer at INL’s Nanostructured Solar Cells group. He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree on Biomedical Engineering from the New University of Lisbon (Portugal) and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Minho University (Braga, Portugal). He also worked as an invited researcher at Johns Hopkins University in the development of 3D self-folding micro antennas for ultra-small implantable medical devices.
His research focuss on the development ultra-thin high efficiency solar cells.
