Noreen Henig, M.D. is our Chief Medical Officer. Noreen joined ProQR in March 2014 as our Chief Development Officer and successfully brought our two lead compounds QR-010 and QR-110 to clinical development. Prior to joining ProQR, Noreen was Global Medical Director, Respiratory and PAH at Gilead Sciences, Inc. (2008-2014) She has over 15 years of experience in translational and clinical science. Noreen’s experience at Gilead Sciences, Inc. in drug development includes building and leading a global medical affairs organization, strategic development of clinical trials Phase II-IV, regulatory strategy, corporate development, leadership of key alliances and commercial strategy. Prior to her work in drug development, Noreen was the director of Adult Cystic Fibrosis Care Centers from 1999 to 2008 as faculty at Stanford University and California Pacific Medical Center. Noreen received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in 1991 with a distinction in immunology. She also has a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
