His primary functions include the oversight on strategic planning for plant systems which includes the identification of the most critical maintenance activities needed to be done to increase availability and reliability of the facility. He is also in charge of developing a System Expert Program, as well as forming and training of new maintenance teams. Prior to his latest appointment, Mr. Ercia served as Maintenance Planning Supervisor – a position he held from 1998-2016. In that capacity, he provided key support for the maintenance, operating and engineering activities of the power facility, which included planning outages and projects in addition to planning ongoing corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.
