Nishant Saxena was with Cipla India initially as a management consultant and then as the India CFO. He brings more than 14 years of corporate experience in Strategy, Finance and Leadership. His last position was in Regional Mergers & Acquisitions at P&G (consistently rated as one of Top 3 most admired companies in the world), overlooking the historic US$55bn Gillette acquisition across Asia. Before that, he was the Deputy CFO of P&G’s India operations and part of the team that helped grow P&G India from US$100mn to US$1bn. He has worked as an expat in Japan, Philippines and Singapore , has done short stints in Australia and Korea, and was consistently rated a top performer.
Nishant started the National award winning Elements Akademia and was profiled as a “Leader-in-Making” (Business Word), “Path-breaker CEO” (Economics Times), “India’s Hottest Start-ups” (Business Today) and “One of 50 Social Entrepreneurs Making India Better” (Outlook Business). He was recognized by the World Bank for high impact social entrepreneurship, for training and placing more than 10,000 unskilled youth. He has delivered financial consulting/trainings in blue-chips like Nestle, KPMG, Aircel, Cadbury, Kraft, Aon Hewitt, Conagra, Macmillan, J&J and P&G, in India, Asia and Africa. He has been a Guest Faculty in some of Asia’s Top B-School – Indian Institute of Management (IIM), NUS Singapore and SP Jain Dubai. He now lives in Cape Town with his wife, Saba, and twin daughters, Diza & Saania. The family loves travelling (have been to more than 40 countries), reading (from management to spirituality) and adventure sports (shark cage diving, skydiving!).
