Myra is President & CEO of GE Healthcare ASEAN. She is responsible for the business and growth strategy for the GE Healthcare business in ASEAN which includes diagnostic and interventional imaging, patient monitoring, digital (formerly known as healthcare IT) and life sciences. She oversees 10 countries: Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei. Prior to her current role, Myra led the GEHC Life Sciences business for the Eastern & African Growth markets, covering Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and Russia/CIS countries. She was focused on driving growth in the region by working with customers who were investing in Life Sciences technologies and research, and applying GE’s global solutions, technology & expertise. Her teams covered the entire portfolio of GEHC Life Sciences products, including Core Imaging, Bioprocessing, Research & Applied Markets, Services and In-vitro Diagnostics. Joining GE in 1995 as part of the GE Financial Management Program, Myra’s GE career spans 20 years in roles covering finance, manufacturing, operations, and sales and marketing at GE Plastics, NBC Universal and GE Healthcare in the Netherlands, the United States, the UK and Turkey. Myra has spent the majority of her career as an executive in the healthcare business. She is a graduate from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, The Netherlands where she earned a M.Sc. in Macro Economics.
