Ms. Suirong Cai has been Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Abterra Ltd. since October 26, 2017. Ms. Cai serves as General Manager of Xinrong Investment Co., Ltd (Thailand) and Chief Executive Officer of General Nice Group (China) Tianjin, General Nice Industrial Co., Ltd (Tianjin) and General Nice Coal (Tianjin). Ms. Cai served as Executive Director of International Energy Group Pte Ltd("IEG") since September 20, 2016. In the mid 1990s, Ms. Cai joined Tianjin General Nice Coke & Chemicals Co., Ltd. ("GNCC") in Tianjin, China, where she expanded the metal urgy coke business. She has more than 20 years corporate experience in the commodities industry, in particular, the coke and coal industry. She has established a wide business network in commodities trading and is well versed in the operations and business of the energy and commodities' markets in China, Thailand and internationally. Back in the early 1980s, she handled the distribution of foundry pig iron and coke for a company in Thailand. She served as the Strategic Business Director of Abterra Ltd. since March 1, 2010 until April 12, 2013. Ms. Cai served as Executive Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Abterra Ltd. since February 2010 until April 12, 2013. She serves as a Director of General Nice Development Co., Ltd, Vice Chairman of the Board and Operations Director of General Nice Resource Co., Ltd (HK). She attended the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance.
