Mr. Pedro Padierna has been the Chairman of PepsiCo Mexico at Pepsico, Inc. since July 2017. Mr. Padierna served as President of PepsiCo Mexico at Pepsico, Inc. since August 2011 until July 2017 and was responsible for PepsiCo Mexico’s Foods (Sabritas, Gamesa-Quaker, Sonric’s) and Beverages (Pepsi, Gatorade) businesses. Mr. Padierna served as President of PepsiCo Mexico, Central America and Caribbean Foods at Pepsico, Inc. since December 2010. Mr. Padierna served as President of PepsiCo Americas Foods - Sabritas Region at Pepsico, Inc. He also leads PepsiCo’s global Potato Center of Excellence. He began his PepsiCo career in 1987 at Sabritas as Vice President of Marketing and Research & Development and held several positions since, including Vice President of Commercial, Mexico; Vice President of National Sales and most President of Sabritas/CariCam, PepsiCo Americas Foods. He served as a PepsiCo Ambassador in Mexico, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government, customers, media and nongovernmental organizations. Prior to PepsiCo, he served at the Mexican Ministry of Tourism, Banamex (Citibank Mexico) and Proctor & Gamble. Mr. Padierna is also the president and founder of the Sabritas Foundation. He served as Vice president of Executive Council of Global Companies. He served as the President of Board of Trustees at Mexican Advertising Council. He is a Founding Chapter Member of International Advertising Association. He is a Fulbright Scholarship grantee.
