Liebman, a US-Belgian dual citizen, has been active in the Chamber for more than 35 years. During this time, he has served in a number of leadership positions, including most recently as Chair of the Legal & Taxation Committee from 2003 until this month. In this role, he led the Chamber’s lobbying efforts on a host of important issues for the international business community in Belgium, such as the Notional Interest Deduction, R&D tax incentives, the expatriate tax regime and the renegotiation of the US-Belgium Income Tax Treaty.
