Mike Lawrie serves as chairman, president and CEO of DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), the company formed by the merger of CSC and the Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Mr. Lawrie previously served as chairman, president and CEO of CSC. Mr. Lawrie is a seasoned IT executive with a reputation for revitalizing complex global companies to deliver increased shareholder value by driving operational excellence, implementing client-centric strategies and championing innovation. At CSC, Mr. Lawrie focused on transforming the company into a leading next-generation IT services company. Following an initial “get fit” phase — which included the formation of a new leadership team and the implementation of a rigorous management system — CSC took significant steps to establish itself as a leader. In late 2015, CSC merged its public sector business with SRA International to create a new public company, CSRA. Mr. Lawrie served as chairman of the CSRA board from the company’s inception until August 2016. In May 2016, CSC and HPE announced the intent to merge CSC and HPE’s Enterprise Services business, thereby creating the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company. The resulting company, DXC Technology, launched on April 3, 2017. Mr. Lawrie came to CSC from UK-based Misys plc, a leading global IT solutions provider to the financial services industry. Under his leadership at Misys, the company experienced significant increases in revenue growth and client satisfaction, improved operational margins and solid returns to company shareholders. Mr. Lawrie also served as the executive chairman of Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions, Inc. from October 2008 to August 2010, and was instrumental in several strategic mergers that vaulted the company to a prominent leadership position in healthcare IT solutions. Prior to Misys, Mr. Lawrie was a partner with ValueAct Capital, a San Francisco-based private investment firm, and also served as chief executive officer of Siebel Systems Inc., the international software and solutions company. Mr. Lawrie spent 27 years with IBM, where he rose to senior vice president and group executive, responsible for sales and distribution of all IBM products and services worldwide. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Lawrie was general manager for IBM’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which included operations in 124 countries and 90,000 employees. Prior to that, Mr. Lawrie served as general manager of industries for IBM's business operations in Asia Pacific, based in Tokyo. Mr. Lawrie is a trustee of Drexel University in Philadelphia, and previously served as a trustee at Ohio University. His previous corporate board service has included Juniper Networks (lead director), SSA Software, Symbol Technologies, Good Technology and the NTT DOCOMO USA advisory board. Mr. Lawrie holds a BA in history from Ohio University and an MBA from Drexel.
