Biography

 Mr. Michael W. Michelson, also known as Mike, J.D., serves as a Member of Private Equity and Chairman of Inclusion & Diversity Council at KKR & Co. L.P. Mr. Michelson served as a Co-Head of Americas Private Equity and Co-Head of North America Private Equity at the KKR & Co. L.P. Mr. Michelson has focused on sourcing deals and oversaw the performance of KKR's companies. Previously, he served as its Head of Health Care Industry Team. He served as a General Partner of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Michelson joined KKR in 1981. He served as a General Partner of KKR Associates, LP since January 1987. He was employed at AutoZone Inc. Mr. Michelson began his Professional Career with the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP in Los Angeles, where he was involved in a broad corporate practice while specializing in management buyouts. Mr. Michelson serves as Director of HCA Realty, Inc., Brookwood Medical Center of Gulfport, Inc., Montgomery Regional Hospital, Inc., GPCH-GP, Inc., EP Health, LLC., Biomet Sports Medicine Inc., VH Holdings Inc., Biomet 3i LLC, New South Holdings Inc., and Promus Hotel Corporation. He currently serves on the board of directors of Mills Fleet Farm and Zimmer Biomet. He has been an Independent Director of Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. since 2015. Mr. Michelson has been a Director of KinderCare Learning Centers LLC (KinderCare Learning Centers Inc.) since December 1999. He was a Director of Women's and Children's Hospital, Inc. He served as a Director of HCA Holdings, Inc. since 2006 until May 17, 2016. He served as a Director of Alliance Healthcare Services, Inc. from November 1999 to April 16, 2007. Mr. Michelson served as a Director of Accellent Inc., from November 2005 to February 6, 2009. Mr. Michelson served as Director of Biomet Inc. from July 2007 to June 24, 2015. He served as a Director of Amphenol Corporation from May 1997 to January 27, 2005, Owens-Illinois, Inc. from 1987 to January 25, 2005, Doubletree Corporation since November 1996 and Union Texas Petroleum Holdings Inc. since July 1985. He served as a Director of LVB Acquisition, Inc., since July 01, 2007. He served as a Director of NewSouth Communications, Inc. He served as a Director of Jazz Pharmaceuticals Public Limited Company from 2004 to January 2012. Mr. Michelson received J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1976 and A.B., cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Harvard College
