Michael Sanders completed his MD from University of South Alabama College of Medicine, 1998 and BS from Birmingham-Southern College - Birmingham, AL, 1992. His training includes ERCP Fellowship, EUS Fellowship, Gastroenterology Fellowship, Internship & Residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Sanders specializes in therapeutic ERCP and EUS for the treatment of pancreaticobiliary diseases and gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. Sanders research interests include outcomes for endoscopic ampullectomy, pseudocyst drainage and endoscopic mucosal resections as well as investigation of new endoscopic instruments and techniques.
