Dr. Lemp is an acknowledged leader in the field of dry eye/ocular surface disease. He serves as Chairman of Scientific Advisory Board at TearLab Research, Inc. He also servers as TearScience Medical Director. He serves as Scientific & Medical Advisor at TearScience, Inc. He has been a Member of Scientific Advisory Board of Novagali Pharma S.A. since 2005. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board of SARcode Bioscience Inc. Dr. Lemp served as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Ocular at arGentis Pharmaceuticals, LLC. He served as Consultant of TearLab Corporation. He served as a Director of TearLab Corporation and OcuSense. He served as a Fellow in Corneal Disease at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Schepens Eye Research Institute where he authored the initial papers on qualitative disorders of the tear film while at these Harvard institutions. He has been Visiting Professor at 68 universities, delivered nine named lectures and in 1998 received the Castroviejo Medal, the highest international award for professional accomplishment in the field of corneal disease.
