Matthias Senn completed his professional training at Givaudan (Hoffmann La Roche) in Dübendorf, near Zürich. In 1981 he became responsible for Senn Chemicals new R & D laboratory. During the following years he helped to adapt the organizational structure to complement the demands of the steadily growing company. In 1993 further studies at the University of Zürich. Since 2000 a Member of the Board and involved on a part-time basis in the management of structural changes and reorganisation.
