Biography

Matthew Ravden joined Balabit in 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer. He is responsible for executing Balabit's global marketing strategy. Matthew spent the first part of his career as a communications consultant after joining B2B tech agency Text 100. He went on to found Bite in 1995 and then returned to Text 100 to build out the agency’s Asia Pac business, based out of Sydney. During that time, he worked on most of the group’s marquee tech clients, including Microsoft, HP, Apple, Oracle, IBM and Intel. Prior to joining Balabit, Matthew worked as a Communications Director at fast-growth cloud start-up Mimecast, and was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer in 2012, overseeing global marketing, including internal and external comms, inbound marketing & lead generation, web and digital marketing, analyst relations and product marketing.
