Mats Danielsson is Board of Directors of this company. Mats received an MSc in Engineering Physics from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology in 1990 and a PhD in 1996. Mats is now a Professor at the Institute, where he heads the research group in medical imaging. Mats is also Director of the Center for Life Sciences Imaging at the Royal Institute of Technology-Karolinska. In 2000, he co-founded Mamea Imaging, AB (later Sectra Mamea, AB), a developer and manufacturer of mammography equipment. Mats holds more than 25 patents and is co-author on 80 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
