Maryam Sadeghi, CEO at MetaOptima Technology Inc, completed her PhD in Computing Science at Simon Fraser University in the Medical Image Analysis lab working closely with BC Cancer Agency and Skin Care Center. As a Skin Research Training Center CIHR Scholar for two years, she worked on visualization and analysis of malignant features of skin lesions. She is also experienced in e-Health smart-phone applications for skin cancer awareness and prevention. She is the former director of the Digital Health Hub at Simon Fraser University. Maryam took home the Gold award at the World Congress of Dermatology in Seoul, Korea
