Biography

    Mark joined SSH as Infrastructure Design Division Director in January 2013. His role entails applying international consultancy best practice to project delivery and driving the growth of the infrastructure business. Before joining SSH, Mark spent four years leading the Hyder regional office in Bahrain where he was responsible for the delivery of a range of major infrastructure projects, business sector coordination, business development and client liaison up to Ministerial level. Mark is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years of wide ranging experience in management, business leadership and project delivery of major infrastructure projects in the UK and Middle East Region. His experience includes working for international consultants, contractors and Government bodies. This range of experience means that he has a comprehensive understanding of all facets of the industry supply chain and key drivers and processes across client, contracting and consultancy organisations. Mark obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering (Honours) in 1985 from the University of Bradford, UK.     Mark joined SSH as Infrastructure Design Division Director in January 2013.
