Mr. Mariusz Golecki has been Member of the Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. since June 28, 2016. He is Member of the Audit Committee, the Strategy and Development Committee and the Organization and Management Committee at the Company. He holds Ph.D. degree in law and has been professor and Head of Cognitive Research on Law at Uniwersytet Lodzki (Law and Administration Faculty), and attorney-at-law at Warsaw Bar Association. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Uniwersytet Warszawski(1998), and Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge (Trinity College, 2002). In 1998-2000, he served as adviser to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts/National Heritage. In 2000-2001, he worked as consultant to Kancelaria Prawnicza Kaminski & Kulesza (a law firm) in Warsaw, and expert at the Programme Department of the Prime Minister Chancellery and the Ministry of Finance. In 2002–2003, he was a European Commission scholar at the Institute of Law and Economics, University of Hamburg. From 2004 to 2008 he worked as assistant professor at the Economics Department of Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu - National Louis University in Nowy Sacz, and in 2008–2009 was a visiting professor at the Centre for European Legal Studies of the Law Faculty at the University of Cambridge. Since 2011 he has been a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics (European Master in Law and Economics programme). In 2013-2014, he was also a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He has been Director of the Legal Department of the Polish Ministry of Finance since February 2016.
