Biography

A manager with wide experience and great success in running modern companies. In 2003–2008 he was the President of the Management Board of Luxmed – the largest network of non-public healthcare facilities in Poland. He joined BRASTER S.A. in 2014, because he noted an enormous international potential of the company’s product. He aims at turning a revolutionary innovation – the Braster device – into a worldwide success. Marcin Halicki graduated from the International Trade Faculty of the Corvinus University in Bucharest (Hungary) and earned an MBA degree from the Hofstra University in New York (USA). He was a co-founder and the President of the Polish Association of Healthcare Employers at the Employers of Poland. In 2006 he was awarded a prestigious title of the “Private Healthcare Manager of 2006”. He brought into BRASTER S.A. a new energy and ambitious development plans. Under his leadership, the company adopted a new strategy, according to which the Braster device was to be used for breast self-examination performed by women at home. Now, he ensures that the company does implement its commitments towards women and investors in accordance with the schedule. Marcin Halicki employs top professionals and integrates them quickly with the team. He finds satisfaction in the possibility of creating a modern organization. He knows that innovations such as Braster are like paving new ways through unexplored terrain. He allows his employees to take courageous decisions. Therefore, he has created a team which quickly and successfully implements the project.

Marcin Halicki has broad interests in the Infectious Diseases and Life Science. His research thus far has focused on Epidemiology.
