Mr. Abdul Illah Mohammed Rafiea Marafie serves as Independent Member of the Board at Gulf Insurance Group K.S.C.P. He holds Diploma in Computer Science. He is presently the Managing Director of the Marafie Group and held several positions in the Marafie Group of Companies between 1977 and 2016. He was the Chairman & Managing Director of Watanyia Telecom KSC (Oreedoo) from May to October 1998. Since April 2005, Mr. Marafie is the Chairman of First Hotels Co. KSCC.
