Dr. Kraff was instrumental in developing the Sanders-Retzlaff-Kraff (SRK) Formula, used worldwide to determine the correct power of an intraocular lens to be implanted in a patient's eye during cataract surgery. He served as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and as Member of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association. He is Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Northwestern University.
