Mr. Castaign has a strong knowledge of shipbuilding industry. He started his career at the Saint-Nazaire shipyard as a Workshop Manager from 1985 to 1990 and as Deputy General Manager from 1998 to 2004. He was responsible for the managing of the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire from 2005 to 2008 and then as an Executive Director of the Grand Port Maritime du Havre from 2008 to 2012. Mr. Castaign holds a Degree from the Ecole Polytechnique (Polytechnics schools) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (ENSTA) - Maritime Engineering section in 1985.
