Biography

Lars Green joined Novo Nordisk in 1992 as a graduate on the Finance Graduate Programme. In 1996, Mr Green was appointed manager in Operations Finance and in 1999 he moved to Japan to take up a position as director of Finance & IT. In 2001, he was appointed vice president of Corporate Financial Planning in Denmark, and in 2004 he was promoted to senior vice president of Corporate Finance. In 2014, Mr Green took up the position as senior vice president of Finance & Operations in Novo Nordisk Inc. in the US. In July 2017, Mr Green was promoted to executive vice president and member of Executive Management in Novo Nordisk. Mr Green serves as member of the board of Novozymes A/S, Denmark, where he also chairs the Audit Committee. Mr Green holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business. Further, he has completed the Programme for Executive Development (PED) at IMD in Lausanne. Mr Green is a Danish national, born May 1967.
