Dr. Klaus Rudolf Schröder is biologist and holds a PhD in Toxicology. He started his career 1995 at Henkel KGaA, Germany. As expert for the development of cell and tissue culture systems for industrial application he represented Henkel at different industrial bodies in Brussels and participated in the development of OECD guidelines for toxicological testing. In 2005 he became Chief Scientific Officer of the French medical device start-up company Natural Implant, SA in Marseille, before taking over the lead of the research group „Development of Animal Alternatives and Tissue Models“ at Henkel KGaA & Co.KG. From 2010 to 2016 he was CEO of Biomed-zet Life Science GmbH, Linz, Austria, and implemented cell and tissue culture systems in industrial R&D processes.
