Biography

 Mr. Kenneth Ziffren serves as a Senior Partner pf Ziffren, Brittenham, Branca, Fischer, Gilbert-Lurie & Stiffelman, Cook, Johnson, Lande & Wolf L.L.P. Mr. Ziffren served as Partner of Ziffren Brittenham LLP, law firm, for more than five years. He joined Gilbert-Lurie & Stiffelman firm in 1978. He served as a Partner at Ziffren & Ziffren from 1967 to 1978. He served as a neutral mediator in resolving the WGA-AMPTP strike (1988) and lead counsel in representation of independent television production companies and guilds in FINSYN matters from 1990 to 1993 and FCC proceedings from 2001 to 2004 and the NFL in network contracts from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Ziffren served as Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Law Review from 1964 to 1965 and served as a Clerk to Chief Justice Earl Warren from 1965 to 1966. He serves as Chair of the UCLA Law School Campaign Cabinet. He has been Co-Chairman of Panavision Inc. since April 2003. He serves as Co-chairman of the UCLA School of Law Board of advisors. He serves as Lead Independent Director of City National Corp. He has been Director of Panavision Inc. since 1998. He serves as a Director of Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc. He serves as a Board Member of Public Counsel. He served as a Director of City National Corp. and its subsidiary City National Bank since 1989 until April 23, 2014. Mr. Ziffren served as a Director of Spectravision Inc. (previously SPI Holding Inc.) since May 1989. He is a frequent lecturer and writer on entertainment law, he is an adjunct professor at UCLA School of Law, teaching seminar courses in network television and motion picture distribution. Mr. Ziffren holds a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and a juris doctor degree from UCLA Law School - Order of the Coif.
