He brings to GUC nearly a quarter century of leadership, marketing, sales and technology　experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to GUC, Dr. Chen served as Senior Director of Business Development at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), where he was responsible for the company’s role in the networking and consumer electronics segments. His global business experience includes management, technical and marketing roles at TSMC North America and TSMC Japan. Prior to joining TSMC, Dr. Chen worked in Operations at Intel as a Sr. Process Engineer. Dr. Chen earned his PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
