Katie compeleted Bachelor of Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University, 2000, Master of Physical Therapy from Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center, 2003. Katie has successfully owned and operated an outpatient clinic for over 9 years, and for the past 7 years she has been fortunate enough to provide quality care to the people in the community where she was raised and has lived for 36 years. Katie has a broad range of experience in outpatient orthopedics including orthopedics. She is also certified in Functional Dry Needling level 1 where she helps people with pain by advancing a small filament needle into the muscle in the area of the body that is producing pain. She is very involved in the community where she is President of the Shawnee Lions Club, and she supports many local sports and non-profit organizations. She and her husband Andy have been married 14 years are busy raising their two children who are 11 and 8. ​
Her research interest is on orthopedics and pre/post surgical rehab
