I am a Hand Surgeon. My interest in Hand Surgery started on 1999, after an accident that I suffered doing my favourite hobby: rock climbing. I had a flexor tendon injury that required conventional surgery for repairing it. My outcome was excellent but it took me three years for fully recovering and for climbing well again. I understood that the main cause of this lengthy rehabilitation was the large surgical approach (incision) that was required. Since that accident, I focussed my acquired Research Methodology and efforts for converting standard approaches into minimally or ultra minimally incisions.
