Jose Grajeda has over thirty years of experience as a maquiladora operations expert, as well as in the realm of business development. He has a strong background on managing start-ups and launching new Mexico manufacturing operations with over 50 projects in a variety of industries, including electronics, electromechanical, automotive, military and medical device throughout the Mexico. He is experienced in advising and leading clients through all required steps needed to set-up manufacturing operations in Mexico, while meeting the client’s needs and programs. Jose’s job experience with large international manufacturing companies, his passion for success, operational excellence, and understanding of multicultural environments enables him to deal effectively with individuals and entities in both the U.S. and Mexico. He has been trained in team building and cultural-shaping processes. Jose Grajeda’s experience as a maquiladora operations expert has familiarized himself with the details related to site selection, new site due diligence, construction management and budgeting, and developing construction programs for industrial buildings in the various types of manufacturing processes. These include: electromechanical, medical, electronics, textile, and food industry. He has been involved in building construction, maintenance and refurbishing facilities for more than 3,000,000 sq. ft. throughout Mexico. He is experienced in process execution covering all the steps to obtain utility contracts with the proper Mexican agencies. He has been responsible for the design; implementation and follow through for maintenance programs for over 23 facilities in Mexico. Jose is experienced in managing and implementing of Environmental and Industrial safety programs in accordance with Mexican laws, providing guidelines to the clients on the “do’s and don’ts” regarding environmental matters in Mexico. He is skilled in guiding the clients in obtaining all permits and environmental licenses required in Mexico and how to handle hazardous waste. As an industrial engineer and maquiladora operations expert, Mr. Grajeda knows and understands manufacturing with over 30 years of experience running manufacturing facilities with full responsibility for operations, sales, quality and P&L objectives. He understands the client’s needs to improve manufacturing operations and increase efficiency, redistribute resources according to production requirements and manpower, on-time deliveries, quality and profits, and exceeding customer expectations.
