Mr. José Antonio González Flores serves as Chief Financial Officer of CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. and has been its Executive Vice President of Finance since May 21, 2014. Mr. González Flores is responsible for CEMEX’s Finance, Controllership, Tax and Process Assessment areas. He serves as President of Barclays Bank Mexico S.A. and Grupo Financiero Barclays Mexico, S.A. de C.V. He serves as the Head of Mexico at Barclays Capital PLC. He joined Barclays in 2005 as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division focused on Mexican corporate clients. Mr. González Flores serves as the Vice President of Strategic Planning for CEMEX Australia, with oversight over Strategic Planning and Finance. He joined CEMEX in 1998 and since then he held management positions both in corporate and operating areas in Finance, Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. In 2003, he joined the CEMEX Corporate Strategic Planning team, firstly in Monterrey and then in Madrid working in strategy development projects, as well as in execution of acquisitions such as UK based RMC in 2005 and Australia based Rinker Group in 2007. In 2007, he led the Post Merger Integration effort of the Rinker Operations in Australia. Mr. González Flores previously worked for Citibank, Bankers Trust and Allen Global Holdings. He served as a Director of Cement Australia Pty Limited. He serves as a Member of Risks Committee at Axtel S. A. B. De CV. Mr. González Flores has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from Stanford University.
